CAMPUZANO, Baltasar, Peruvian monk, born in Lima, Peru, or in Guadalajara, about the end of the 16th century; died in Rome, Italy, in 1666. He was prefect of the province of his order, the Augustinian, in Peru. He wrote "E1 sumo Sacerdote" (Rome, 1655); "Antiguedad de Guadalajara" (Madrid, 1661); "Conversion de la Reina de Suecia"; and "Alma y Cuerpo de las Cualidades de un Nepote de Papa" (Rome, 1666).
