BRADLEE, Caleb Davis, clergyman, born in Boston, Massachusetts, 24 February, 1831. He was graduated at Harvard in 1852, and in December, 1854, became pastor of the Allen street church, Cambridge, where he remained for three years. In April, 1864, he took charge of the Church of the Redeemer, Boston, where he has since remained. He has published sermons, notably one on the death of Abraham Lincoln, and has also contributed prose and verse to newspapers and periodicals, especially the "New England Historical and Genealogical Register." He is a member of historical and literary societies, and for some time was recording and corresponding secretary of the New England historical and genealogical society.
