Clinton Scollard

SCOLLARD, Clinton, poet, born in Clinton, Oneida County, New York, 18 September, 1861. After graduation at Hamilton college in 1881 he studied for two years in Harvard, and travelled in Europe in 1886-'7, spending several months in Cambridge university before visiting Greece, Egypt, and Palestine. He has published two volumes of poems, "Pictures in Song" (New York, 1884) and "With Reed and Lyre" (Boston, 1886).
