MOORE, David Albert, physician, born in Lansing, Tompkins County, New York, 8 November, 1814. He studied medicine at Cazenovia and Albany, New York, and was given the honorary degree of M. D. by Syracuse university in 1877. Dr. Moore was president in 1869-'73 of the New York state life insurance company of Syracuse, where he has resided for many years. He has written under the pen-name of Paul Wright, and published " A Panorama of Time" (New York, 1857), and "How She won Him," a romance (Philadelphia, 1880).
