Dudley McIver DuBose

DU BOSE, Dudley McIver, lawyer, born in Shelby County, Tennessee, 28 October 1834. He was educated at the University of Mississippi, and studied and practiced law. At the beginning of the civil war he entered the Confederate army and rose to the rank of brigadier general. After the war he represented Georgia in congress, serving from 4 March 1871, till 3 March. 1873.
