HARRISON, Hall, clergyman, born in Anne Arundel county, Md., 11 November, 1837. He was graduated at the College of St. James, Maryland, in 1854, and was an instructor there from that year till 1863. In 1865 he was ordained to the ministry of the Protestant Episcopal church at Concord, New Hampshire, and was appointed assistant master in St. Paul's school, where he remained until 1879. In that year he became rector of St. John's church, Ellicott City, Maryland, which charge he has since retained. He edited "Evans on the Christian Doctrine of Marriage" (New York, 1870), and published a "Memoir of Hugh Davey Evans" (Hartford, 1870), and a life of John B. Kerfoot, first bishop of Pittsburg (New York, 1886).
