CUTLER, Henry Stephen, musician, born in Boston, Massachusetts, 7 October 1824. He was organist and choir-master in Trinity Church, New York, from 1860 till 1868. He compiled "The Psalter, with Chants" (Boston, 1858); "Trinity Psalter" (New York, 1863); and "Trinity Anthems" (1868). The last named contains several of his own compositions. In 1-864 he received the honorary degree of Doctor in Music from Columbia.
