KINGDON, Hollingsworth Tully, Canadian Anglican bishop, born in England in 1837. He was graduated in 1858, ordained a priest in the Church of England in 1860, and became senior assistant curate at St. Andrew's, Well street, London, in 1869. In 1878 he was appointed vicar of Great Easter, Essex, and in 1880 became coadjutor bishop of Fredericton, New Brunswick. In 1881 the degree of D. D. was conferred on him.
