FELLOWS, John, author, born in Sheffield, Massachusetts, in 1760; died in New York City, 3 January 1844. He was graduated at Yale in 1783, and published "The Veil Removed: Reflections on Humphrey's Essay on the Life of Israel Putnam" (New York, 1843j; "Exposition of the Mysteries or Religious Dogmas and Customs of the Ancient Egyptians, Pythagoreans, and Druids"; and a work on the authorship of the Junius letters.
