ANGUS, Joseph, English clergyman, born 16 January 1816. He was educated at Edinburgh University, is president of Regent's park College, London (Baptist), author of several hand-books, and editor of the best edition of Butler's "Analogy" (1855). He was one of the revisers of the English New Testament for the American Bible union, and visited the United States in 1873 as a delegate of the Evangelical alliance.
