Robert Lawson

LAWSON, Robert, soldier, died in Richmond, Virginia, in April, 1805. He became major of the 4th Virginia regiment, 13 February, 1776, colonel in 1777, and commanded a brigade of Virginia militia under General Greene at the battle of Guilford.
