William Buckminster

BUCKMINSTER, William, soldier, born in Framingham, Massachusetts, 15 December, 1736; died 22 June, 1786; removed to Barre in 1757, commanded the minute-men in 1774, was lieutenant colonel of Brewer's regiment at Bunker Hill, and received there a wound that crippled him for life.
