William Frothingham Bradbury

BRADBURY, William Frothingham, educator, born in Westminster, Massachusetts, 17 May, 1829. He was graduated at Amherst in 1856, and was valedictorian. He taught school every winter from 1848 till his graduation, and then became a teacher in the Cambridge, Massachusetts, high school, of which he became head master in 1878. He has published a series of nine mathematical textbooks, and "Cambridge High School Itistory and Catalogue." He has patented devices for teaching the metric system, and assisted to organize the American metric bureau. Mr. Bradbury in 1883-'4 was a member of the Cambridge common council.
