William Horace Elliot

ELLIOT, William Horace, genealogist, born in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1824; died in St. Croix, West Indies, 8 December 1852. His father, of the same name, was a merchant in New Haven. The son was graduated at Yale in 1844, and at the Law School in 1847, and compiled a "Genealogy of the Eliot Family," which was revised and enlarged by W. S. Porter (New Haven, 1854).
